i got a 2010 chevy silverado im needing a factory radio wiring diagram, wire color/ description, does anyone have a diagram you could share or send me

Yellow 12 Volt memory
Red 12 volt ignition
Orange dash light illumination
Black radio chassis ground
Blue power antenna
White left front +
White/Blk left front -
Green left rear +
Green/Blk left rear -
Gray right front +
Gray/Blk right front -
Violet right rear +
Violet/Blk right rear -

 

If you are staying with a factory ,"As built" radio , great, If, however, you are contemplating installing a different radio something to keep in mind.

Most vehicles built after 2008 use a CAN/LAN system and the radio is one of the modules in the network and when inoperative/incorrect can create all sorts of problems.

 

what kind of problems could it potentially create, and what would i need to do to keep from having these issues?

 

ok so let try this as well, can someone tell me exactly what all i am going to need to install an aftermarket radio in my truck, again its a 2010 chevy silverado and yes i do have steering wheel controls....what all items will i need to hook a radio up and still be able to utilize all the same functions as it does with the factory radio
