Default Low oil pressure issues

I have an 08 Silverado 5.3L. I’ve recently replaced my oil sending unit or oil pressure switch because of dash light indicator and message saying low oil pressure stop engine. I’ve replaced this same part about 8 months ago and that fixed the issue. This time, it has not. Is there any other possible problems that could be happening. Maybe an oil pump issue or o-ring issue on the oil sending tube inside the pan?

Apparently there is a screen below the oilpressure switch (at the back of the block). I wonder if that was getting plugged. Certainly it can be the O ring issue as well which requires dropping the pan. Any way of getting an actual oilpressure reading on a seperate gage?

I just changed the sending unit screen and that was the issue. It was plugged pretty bad. Thank you for your reply and input.
