Default Multiple issues 2011 Silverado 4x4

Multiple issues I’ll start with most important- 1. Truck starts when it feels like it. Been stuck a many a time and towed 3 times to get home. Battery good, alternator new, starter rebuilt, new key had been done. Truck won’t start occasionally and when it doesn’t you can go back 20 min later and starts. Issue #2- battery voltage all over the place. #3 headlights dim out at night(I’m sure during day also but can’t see them) truck is 2011 Silverado 4x4 with 4.8 motor. Even my mechanic is stuck on this one and he was a mechanic for Chevy. Anyone else had these issues?

No, but you need to check your battery with a professional grade tester. Those POS's they use at the major auto parts stores are not effective. Of course check all your grounds I dont know if this is related, but it MIGHT be a bad ignition control module. Sometimes a bad one will do things like just like this, .

Have you figured out your starting issue? Mine does the same thing. I just started a thread on it to see what I can find out.

sounds like your anti thief module I have had the same problem for 2 years . three visits to dealers put $ 3000.00 in repairs to fix the problem. Not fixed yet. Now I am looking for a specialist to delete the anti thief program from the computer of my truck . resetting the pass lock only helps for a little while. If you find a solution please let me know.
