Default No power to cruse control on steering wheel

I have a 2009 Silverado 2500 6.0 4x4. I have checked the fuses, changed the brake switch, checked the plugs & wires. Still I do not have power to the connector behind the airbag to my cruse control switch. Any tips or guesses I'll try it!

The following are the main components of the GM cruise control system:

• The accelerator pedal

• The brake pedal position (BPP) sensor

• The body control module (BCM)

• The cruise on/off switch

• The + RES switch (equivalent to resume/accel switch)

• The - SET switch (equivalent to set/coast switch)

• The engine control module (ECM)

• The throttle actuator control (TAC) motor

• The vehicle speed sensor

BTW, how did you determine that your C-C switch has no power?

That is good, Colson. As you can see, the cruise control sytem items that can go bad are many. In fact its a bit overdone for safety reasons, IMO. But I can see why GM made it so. Better then a multiple recall if the CC became stuck in the "ON" position.

I had a spare gas pedal & checked it... Didn't help. I had PO621, PO575, PO564 codes & they all tell me about the same thing. I cleared them & they haven't came back.
