My friends 2008 1500 turns over but will not start all fuses and relays are good she drove it and parked it no problems now no fire I gave it a shot of ether no fire no security light I'm at a loss her money is a little tight right now so we have to trouble shoot our self any ideas ?

 

Fuel, spark or air. Sounds like fuel question has been kind of addressed. Have you tried reading codes to help you narrow down the problem?

 

no check engine light but will read on sat. with code reader

 

trying to fire then sometimes starts for a few seconds then dies no codes

 

checked no codes changed fuel control Mod. on top of spare tire now try's to start it pops but will not run all fuses and relays still good don't here fuel pump running could it maybe be the cam position sensor on back of engine at a total loss
