Started my 07 silverado yesterday morning and the oil pressure gauge immediately rose to 80psi and held steady there without wavering, 2 minutes or so. Turned the truck off and let it sit for 30 minutes or so. Turned the key on without starting, gauge was reading 40 psi. Started the truck, gauge again rose to 80psi and fell to 0psi after 30 seconds or so and has stayed on 0 now whether the truck is running or not. Have not driven since it fell to 0 but have started the truck and let it idle twice since then. No knocking, no tapping, seems to be running fine.

Truck history:

bought the truck at 135k miles, lifter collapse at 142k miles. replaced all 16 lifters a little over a month ago, two weeks ago lifter in cylinder 1 collapsed with roughly 200 miles on it. GM lifter, no GM help as many of you may have already experienced.

Any help or insight would be awesome...
