will 4.10 Gear ratio let me tow more
I have a 2013 Silverado HD2500 with the 3.73 gear ratio and a max gvwr of 9300 lbs. I want to pull a 5th wheel that has a GVWR of 11000 lbs. If I install 4.10 gears in the differential will this let me tow up to 14000 lbs. Would I have to do anything else. I don't want to have to buy another truck. Any help or advise appreciated.

you can't change the towing limits regardless what you swap from a legal stand point...meaning if you get stopped and you are over the vehicle build rating...they can stop you until you have a rated vehicle that can pull it.
that said; 2 identical builds on with 3.73 vs 4.11...the 4.11 will probably/ may have a 2000lb higher rating.
check your owners manual for the tow ratings based on build. then you can determine if you are in the range for the ratio swap.
