I Have a 2015 Chevy 3500 high country SRW and the place for the Trailer safety chain hooks are very small. I can't hook some of the safety chain hooks on some trailers. Have tried to use D ring shackles but have not found one that would fit yet. What is everyone else using to attach there safety chain hooks to the receiver hitch on PU?

 

I have the same problem with my 2500. Lot attendant at the U-haul showed me to push the chain links through the holes and latch it that way....
