I purchased a 2016 Silverado WT and was told it didnt come from the factory with a remote for keyless entry is this true? I have power windows and locks. I was flipping through the computer settings and somthing for keyless entry popped up. Is my truck supposed to have a remote?

i would imagine if you can see it in the settings then you should be able to program a remote. the way how it works if you want to add a new remote lets say remote B, you have erase remote A first then reprogram both remotes. i would think the dealer would be able to tell you what options your truck came with and what remote to get
