2017 Silverado 1500 6.2 - gas only, not flex fuel (per sticker under hood)
I’m inspecting a customer truck while troubleshooting a CEL and found this in the process. The codes are P0446 and P2635 - I doubt this harness is related them as it’s coming off the ABS module and a good foot at least ahead of the EVAP solenoid and fuel tank.
It looks like it was restrained by the other clip (arrow) but there’s no evidence of what it may have connected to. I’ve spent about 20 minutes looking through harness views and scouring the master component list but no luck yet.
Any help is appreciated - hoping someone with a similar truck can take a look under theirs and see what they find.
Well in case anyone wants to know, this is for the fuel composition sensor, which this truck doesn’t have. What threw me off is the wiring looks like it was ripped out of a connector. Typically a harness that’s not being used (from the factory) would be taped up and obviously not being used.
However this customer had been driving through a field, so I’m sure that’s why it’s so tore up.
Thanks to anyone who attempted to find an answer for me.
