Default Changing side mirrors

I have a 2017 Silverado LT and I want to up grade the side mirrors to the folding type. I am trying to find out if it is just plug and play or the wire harness is different.

Default OP, I'm also thinking the same thing!

Hey, although I can't answer your question I'm considering the same deal. From what I've read on the interwebs, I think the wiring harness plug side of things should allow this to happen. I do not know for certain, but also would like to hear from others on this.

Thanks for bringing it up! In my case, it would be for a very generic 2017 2500HD WT double-cab.
