Default Engine Power Reduced

I'm getting an "Engine Power Reduced" warning and my truck enters limp mode. I can't recall the codes off the top of my head but it had to do with the accelerator pedal and throttle position sensor correlation. I replaced both the accelerator pedal and throttle body and I still get the code. I went ahead and cut and replaced the accelerator pedal position sensor pigtail connector and I still get the code. Here's the thing.... I can disable the code and make everything run smoothly if I turn off the truck, unplug the APP sensor from the foot pedal for about 5 seconds, plug it back in, and restart the truck. Here's another thing..... The truck will run perfectly fine until I hit any slight bump in the road. It's really noticeable. Particularly when I hit a bump on the driver's side. I know I'm pretty close to determining the issue and I'm sure it may be some loose connection of some sort, but before I dive into all the wiring stuff, I was just wondering if anyone else ever experienced this issue.
