Help help help bad vibration
2014 Chevy Silverado 4wd 160,000 miles. I’ve been fighting a bad vibration these past few months. I’ll spare you a bunch of details but after spending about $6k dollars the vibration is still there.
Things that so called mechanics have done are
new transmission and torque converter
new u joints
new drive shaft
rotate and balance tires
the vibration is not bad at 35 to 40. But at 65 to 70. It’s bad. Now after the last mechanic replaced the drive shaft and it changed nothing, he stated I think you got a bad torque converter. So I take it back to the transmission installer ( on 1000 miles since being installed ) he keeps it a couple days and says there is absolutely nothing wrong with torque converter or transmission come get your truck.
I now have an appointment with a huge Chevy dealership in my area next month. But I’m tired of throwing money at it.
Sorry this was long, but any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

have a shop with a vibration analyzer test drive the vehicle. they can measure the frequency of the vibration and determine the source. tires/axles, driveshafts, engi9ne/trans all can cause vibrations at different frequncies...this instrument isolate it.
where do you feel the vibration, through the floor or steering wheel? is the vibration gone if shifted into neutral?
there is a phone app that measures the vibration also.
