I just acquired a 2017 Silverado 1500 and feel that the interior cab lights are quite marginal. I found the grey wire under the dash that feeds them. Can I add additional led lights under both sides of the dash to light up the floor area without hurting any of the lighting electronics. Not sure if the after market low draw led lights will stand up to the dim down when they turn off. Thanks.
