I recently purchased 16 z71 5.3
My battery died in my Hemi Magnum so I decided to jump it with the truck. The negative post was a pain to get to so hooked to alternator. I tried for 30 mins to jump that car. After 30 wasted mins I got pissed and grabbed the wife Honda Odyssey. After maybe a 1 min magnum started right up. I’m having issues with the magnum and the battery died later so again I tried the truck and it won’t jump it. It’s getting power to the magnum but it just clicks. Won’t even attempt to crank. Tried the Honda again, started right up. Has anyone had any issues with using the Silverado to jump start? Or am I missing something special?
