Default Lift and deleting

Just got this truck. And want to lift it. I like 37’s look on the truck. I know I need a 7inch or bigger lift. What the best lift for the money out there. The rough country lift is only $1500 for 7.5 inches. Any down side?

Also so looking at deleting this truck ASAP. I’ve had powerstrokes my whole life. It’s 2016 LML 2500 HD LTZ z71 full crew cab short bed with 6000 miles. What size exhaust 4” or 5” down pipe back. Prob gonna go with s&b intake their intake have never failed me. Gonna rip out the def tank. What’s the suggestions on the full egr deletes or just using blocker plates. I hear I’m gonna need a lift pump too....? Then I would like efi live since that’s the one I’ve always heard the most about. Must mean it’s a good one right.
So any help with lift pumps like FASS or whatever. The egr deletes info. What programmer and tunes. And what exhaust everyone’s loving on these trucks. Thanks guys. Sorry I kno it’s a look of questions.

I cant speak to the lift questions, but if you modify your DEF system by removing the tank, your ECM will know it. On Semi-truck diesel motors, when you run out of DEF, your engine goes into "Limp Mode" at about 5 MPH. Don't know if it does that with any pickup diesel engine, but it might be so.

Same thing with the EGR system. Its all wired into the ECM, so you are going to have to reprogram it, if that's even possible. Also make sure your SMOG laws allow
for this, unless you live where they dont use SMOG tests. Too, if you modify these components, you will likely void your warranty with Chevrolet.

I am not trying to be "johnny-law" here, I just dont want you to waste your money. Back in the 1970's-85, before ECM's, you could pull this off easy, but not anymore.
