Payload & Towing Capacity by VIN
Hello, I’m currently shopping for a new tow vehicle for our travel trailer. I have found the VIN decoder on this forum, but the information it provides doesn’t appear specific for the VIN provided. It gives minimum and/or maximum numbers.
The numbers I’d most like to see are the axle ratio, payload and towing capacity. There’s multiple entries for these categories.
I’ve also been researching RAM trucks and they have three separate online tools (towing/window sticker/equipment) available that provide the above information quite easily.
it would be nice if Chevy provided better online tools for online shoppers like myself.
FYI, I’ve also looked for window sticker links for Chevy and have found none that work.
Have I missed something?
