Towing Capacity

I have a Chevy Silverado 1500 v6, what can I actually tow behind it? Not on flat ground but real life towing situations, like hills and wind!

that info is listed in the owners manual. ratings vary depending on the build...engine, axle ratio, trans, suspension, 4wd

once you start towing...maintenance schedule changes to severe service.
