Towing capacity
2015 Silverado 5.3L, 3.08 gears, Crew Cab, 33x11.50 tires
Planning to tow a trailer 2,290 lbs with motorcyles weighing 2,100 lbs for a total of 4,400 lbs about 1,300 miles each way on a trip. Total round trip will be about 2600 miles. Trailer has hydraulic surge brakes. Wanting to get some thoughts on whether this will cause any damage to the truck, or just general thoughts from you guys. Thanks

Damn, that's heavy motorcycle. My old '82 Kawasaki KZ550 only weighed about 400 lbs. It's a Harley-Davidson I'm guessing.
What is the Combined Gross Weight Rating for your truck? The total weight of the truck and trailer and everything in them should not exceed this rating. That said you'll probably be okay. Keep the transmission out of OD (at least when traversing hilly terrain). You don't want the transmission shifting a lot. Shifting creates heat and keeping it out of OD will minimize shifting and heat.
Personally I don't care for surge trailer brakes (common on U-Haul trailers). I'd prefer electric brakes controlled through a brake controller in the cab.
