Default Visors really stay on?

I have recently considered adding a set of these visors to the side of my truck, however, I am not sure if I trust just glue holding these on. Currently, I don't have these, but considering buying yet here is my dilemma. Sometimes when driving, I feel gusts when we have storms and these wind gust will blow over my outdoor chairs (that are not light)....so how would these stay on and really last through storms, or heavy rains, or even going through these power car washes? Anyone had any of the visors that go on the outside of the windows fall off or do they really stay on as promised?

most are two sided taped to the door frame. if the surface is prepped correctly as per the kits instructions...I have never seen a set come off. If you want to make it so you will not be able to pull them off without snapping them...apply adhesion promoter (carefully so you don't dull the paint) to the door before sticking them on....but its overkill.

the style that snap into the window track...don't get them...they can be problematic.

I had a set that taped on to the door of an Equinox. It DID pull free driving down the highway. Actually, pulled part way free, and was flapping in the wind while I was driving... was a bear to pull off the rest, then alcohol to remove an remaining adhesive.. not fun. In contrast, my 2019 Silverado has WeatherTech, no adhesive needed. They mount in the window groove, and are held in place by compression. They work great! (I didn't realize how they were held in until I had the windows tinted, and the guy at the shop left them out.) I recommend those.

problem with window track style...if you have auto up windows...the anti-pinch feature can hit the deflector and reverse instead of closing.
