Default 2019 Silverado 4x4 warning and parking brake help

Hi All,

Last weekend I had to use 4x4 in my truck, shifted into and out as normal. While in 4x4, I did notice that the front wheels were extra choppy on tighter corners. I know all 4 x 4's do this, but honestly I don't remember it being this bad.

Anyway, shortly after I got a message stating (service 4x4.)

This is when I then noticed, that when I put the truck in drive or reverse, it doesn't start in motion like it used to. I have to give it gas to like "break it free."

Then yesterday I got a new message (service 4x4 is still on also) that said "releasing parking brake" but I never turned the brake on. It keeps doing this since.

Any thoughts or feedback as to what it could be? Hoping just a failed sensor or something.

Thank you for any help.

Well, I didn't hear anything on the forum so I went ahead and made an appointment for tomorrow. Man I hope this isn't pricey. The issue with the parking brake keeps happening, every time I get into the truck is is engaged and will not release with the button, I just have to give it a little gas.

Problem fixed, $92.00. Very excited about that as I thought it would be much more.

Codes were C11B3, P189A, C0277, C0297. Performed Range Actuator Correlation Learn, all codes moved to history, running correctly now.

So what ended up needing to be replaced at the shop?

if you have 4x4 and not AWD...its a part time 4wd system not meant to be run on dry pavement (4auto the exception)...that bind on turning is very stressful on the tcase
