Default What is my suburban?

Hello To all, First let me say I'm new to this forum and I find it to be cool. I also have a queation I bought a 97suburban about four or five months ago it is a 4x4, but has no marking on the outside to show that it is a4x4.Ithas the little LE in between the front and rear doors but other than that doesn't save the 4x4 marking on it. Is it just an unmarked 4x4 vehicle or a Z71 or something? Any help someone to give me on this will be appreciated....Thanks.

some people take the decals off, but I dont think suburbans came with any, unless it was a Z71...as long as it has a 4x4 shifter and a tcase your good..... lol

Yeah....I haven't seen a 4x4 Burb with any indication that it's 4x4.
I imagine it's a 5.7L?
If so it's a K1500LE. K indicates 4x4, 1500 means it has the 5.7L and is 1/2 tonne, LE is the interior trim (I believe).
