My 2017 Silverado 6.2 liter with 8-speed transmission just started having the same problem. My local dealer is reputable and is trying to resolve my problem. Right now, they are draining and flushing the transmission, then refilling it with Mobil 1 Synthetic LV ATF HP fluid.

I feel its drive-train related. It will have the vibration while braking or just letting the truck slow down to a stop on its own. Braking just exaggerates it. So not brake problem. No vibrations on acceleration. Anyone have info or knowledge on this issue ? Thanks Dave
just purchased mine in December 2022. I have had several issues. Locking calipers, a weird clunk (feels like a small car hit my rear bumper) when I slow and accelerate. A vibration in the steering wheel. They changed the tranny fluid and it lowered how noticable it is, but it's still there. Started to research this and found this thread. I was starting to think I was going crazy.

They finally replaced my trans and as soon as I got it back I got rid of it , I saw on the news they just filed a class action suit against GM for vibration and shutter issues on Silverados 2016 to 2019 see if anything comes of it good luck .

Does it apply in Nebraska?. I would like to join that class action. I can't afford to get rid of it. Especially since rates went way up.
