Took my new truck to dealer it's got 3000 miles on it and wanted waxoyl undercoating type spray. Went to get it when completed and my shocks were half sprayed, running on the transfer case and sprayed half of my calipers all of them over spray on all the exhaust it is ALL over my doors. I don't know if I should demand EVERYTHING that's not supposed to be coated be replaced? The way I see it is it ALL should look brand new. Am I wrong?

 

All it would have taken them is some cardboard to stop the over-spray. I'd threaten them with small claims court and get the written or oral expressions of a profession body-work man. Take lots of clear pictures too.That crap will not allow for proper heat exchange. Find out the name of the idiot who did this shoddy work as well. You are not wrong.

Back in my youth undercoating was all external using a black compound which looked like watered down asphalt. They only applied it to the outside of the frame and under-body. This Waxoyl looks much better as they can spray it inside the frame and fenders.I don't live in the Rust Belt so our vehicles don't rust much here.
