Hi all. New here. Last August I bought a 2022 Silverado 1500 LT refresh with the HO 2.7. Has factory tow package. But unfortunately, I did not realize till after I got it, that it did not come with the factory brake controller installed. Just a harness in the glove box.
Does anyone know, if they factory stuff can be added?
If not, what are you guys using aftermarket, and where are you mounting them?
Appreciate any info. Thanks in advance.

 

it is a option you can add at the dealer. You buy a kit...install it in the dash and have the dealer update the network to add the programming. Factory controller is much better than aftermarket as it incorporates the antilock brakes and stability control system to giver you sway control.
