Default 3500 HD LT or WT 4x4 ( Diesel) Suspension Research

Hola Amigos- Wondering if anyone has any real life data on the rear travel of a newer 3500. I am currently CAD building a flat bed camper set up and planning the flat bed specs. My camper will be 2500lbs or less. The bed will be 81" wide by 96" long ( 8 ft box) .. I can fabricate the bed at any height, but I'm aiming for at "low" as possible... as the flat bed will have a storage pocket gap of 5" high... ( the entire bed will be about 9" high) Trying to keep the bed-over-cab as low as possible without an unsightly gap between the camper and the cab roof.

What I'm after is if i will need wheel well cut outs or not. Quite a few photos of the chassis cabs show the top of the tire being below the top of the main frame rails, but that might just be the photo angles. Hope that all makes sense
