4 wheel drive Hi/Lo Not engaging
Hey folks, first time ever posting in a forum so be easy on me.
So here is what i got. I have a 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with the 6.6 gas engine. Last summer, i went to engage the trucks 4wheel hi system to back up a grass hill and it would not engage. I figured i would just bring it to the dealer.. a couple of weeks later, it started working again.
Yesterday, i hooked up my plow and went to make sure the truck would engage the 4wheel hi and guess what..... right, of course it would not work. the dash says its shiftig to 4 wheel drive for about 30 second but just stops trying and the truck remains in 2wheel hi....this just before a major snow storm. So needless to say, i shoveled and snowblowed my driveway.
Called the dealership today and they can take my truck until Feb 16th..
My question is:
Is it possible that it could be as simple as a fuse and if so, what fuse/fuses could it be ?
My guess is that it is a bad actuator or bad ground but i want to try the fuses first.
I am not an electric guy so i dont know how to use a multimeter to see if the actuator is getting power nor do i know how to test the ground.
any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

*****update*****
dealership replaced the transfer case control module
it was not receiving signal or ignoring the commands sent to it.
