I recently installed an aftermarket LED taillight bar that adheres to the sheet metal between the tailgate and the bumper. It plugs into the 4 pin trailer light connector. The truck has the factory installed trailer system including the brake controller. My question: I'm experiencing the truck thinks that I have a trailer connected, so the rear sensors located in the bumper have been turned off. I receive the messages: Back parking assist turned off, Rear cross traffic sensor turned off, and the Lane change sensor is turned off. How can I bypass the trailer sensing by the truck so I can continue to enjoy the aforementioned benefits TIA
