Brake Issue
Has anyone had an intermittent issue with brakes when first starting? Every once in awhile ESC, ABS, and the trailer brake system will fail. I get a message saying speed has been reduced to 62 mph. I took it to the dealer to do a reprogram per the recall but I am still having issues. This truck was purchased new 3 days ago.
I have had the same problem but mine occurred after using the "My Chevrolet" app to remote start the vehicle. The dealer removed the battery cable and I am not sure what else. This has happened twice on my 2019 Silverado with less than 600 miles on it. The dealer told me not to use the app but this looks like it could be a big problem if not corrected soon.

This appears to be an issue that needs to be corrected by GM and with the amount of trucks that are on the highway it could cause a bad problem. I have the same symptoms and it was linked to an app on my phone. If this in fact is true then we do not know how many more issues are lurking out there. But yes I agree to take it back to the dealer to have it fixed and documented. I do not agree with returning it without any repairs as this would only put an unsafe vehicle back into the mainstream. Thank you.

So am I the only one that has had their trailboss at the dealership nearly 20 days now with no solution or answer on why my truck isn't ready yet? I originally took it for a "brake caliper bolt strength" recall and a check engine light. They told me the bolts were replaced on the calipers and are now telling me that the check engine light is due to an issue with the electronic braking module that needs a new calibration. After having my car there for about 5 days they tell me that they have a new calibration and then later tell me that the calibration did not work and the car has been there since with no estimate or answer on why or when "GM" will send them a new calibration. I've called a million times and left messages at the Bomnin Chevrolet West Kendall dealership and never hear back from them. The one time I spoke to a service advisor he simply stated that he didnt know when they would send the "new calibration". They took all trail bosses off the lot and it's been 17 days now with no answer. I called GM and opened a case with a senior advisor which has not yet been able to contact anyone at the dealership where I purchased the truck (Bomnin Chevrolet West Kendall) and he himself cannot explain what is going on. I am very frustrated as I put a heavy downpayment on that truck and drove it for about a week before having to leave it at the dealership. I want answers!!!! Is anyone else going through this?????

It sounds like they don't have an answer for you yet.
Maybe they're working on a solution, but safety things like this have to undergo a lot of lengthy, rigorous testing before they can let you drive the car away. It takes time, so maybe all you can do is be patient. I assume you got a loaner from them right?
