Connecting a Trailer in the Dark
Gentlemen,
Quick question. I went from a 2018 GMC Sierra back to a 2023 Silverado. I don't recall having the following issue with my Sierra. When I was up at the camp last weekend trying to connect my truck to my trailer in the pitch black dark I can't see my hitch ball at all. Granted, this truck is black, it was completely dark outside with no lighting around and the embedded lights for the license plate were simply not bright eh. It simply created a "halo" effect, and I couldn't see the hitch ball at all. Has anyone else had this issue? I pull my trailer and Polaris all of the time but can't recall having this issue on the last truck. I am not sure if it's just a design difference with all of this technology or not. It's an LTZ with the trailer package, etc. Let me know of any solutions.
