Engine hours to miles????
My "new to me" 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3L has 254 engine hours and 18,600 miles. I'm trying to figure out if that's a lot of engine hours or if that's normal? Can some of you guys post what your engine hours are and miles? Thanks
All you need is basic algebra. Divide one by the other to get your average speed
18,600 miles per 254 hrs is roughly 73 miles per hour, which sounds really fast to me. Must be mostly highway miles.
or divide by time instead
I don't know when you bought the thing, but lets say you've had it 36 months
That's 7 hours of driving per month. That's bugger all if you consider some people drive an hour each way to work.
I don't usually drive very far with my truck. I have 2,322 hours in about 10 years. (roughly 62,000 miles)

I've only had it for about a month. It was a fleet vehicle according to Carfax. It belonged to a rental place in Arizona. Well thank you for figuring that out for me. Math was always my weakest subject...lol.
