I have a 2021 Silverado RST and the brake pads and rotors were replaced recently. When I look at the brake life information both front and rear are listed as "Installed" and greyed out. When I go to percentage the rear is at 99% but the front just shows dashes. The system will not allow me to change anything as described for procedures to reset the system, I am totally locked out.

 

Sorry I can't help. Just jealous that my '19 doesn't have that feature.
I wonder if that's one of the type of settings that, instead of leaving it up to the consumer, they need one of the specialized brake scanning tools to reset? Did you ask the service place about it yet?

It would have been good to have that system for my truck. I changed my front brakes at 55k miles, and they still had at least (at LEAST!) 50% wear left. They were not working as well as when new, and the way I drive I thought they would be well worn by that mileage. Guess not...
Changed them out anyway, and happy with the results. But could have saved my money for another 20 or 30 thousand miles apparently.
