How do I unlock and put my truck into neutral without starting engine
My 2020 RST Silverado with only 3600 miles had a lifter issue “loud knock in engine”…needed to be towed but we could not figure out how to unlock gear selector and put into neutral without starting engine…I tried accessory mode but that didn’t work

you have to press and hold the start button for five seconds.
