Question Soft Brake Pedal

About a week ago I had a caliper come lose and tear out a wire harness. The dealership did the fix under warranty. Now it seems I have significantly less braking power (ei. I have to press hard to brake and the pedal goes most the the way to the floor.), the pedal also does NOT stiffen up if you press it while the truck is off. I am very far away from the dealer that did the work and the local dealer is telling me their brake inspection showed nothing wrong and they cannot replicate the problem. Does anyone have any insight on this? Is the new dealership just trying to avoid work? I asked them to try bleeding the lines but they wont.

Write everything down, then send it into Chevrolet Corp. They'll fix it or pay the price tag. You could try to bend the dealer over it but Chevrolet has more power. The dealerships do whatever they want to till Chevy stomps them down HARD.
