I've tried to search this problem, but it always leads to the auto start/stop, which isn't my issue. My issue is, if I leave my truck in park, and running with the A/C on for my dog while at work, after so long, it just turns off, this is a big issue, because I can get busy at times, and not have time to go look at my truck every few minutes. I've noticed it cuts off sooner if I take the keys with me, if I leave them in the vehicle, it seems to shut off around 30 minutes of setting idle. Is there a way to bypass this? Thanks for any and all help.

 

As a farmer told me , they found out putting truck in neutral with parking brake on and doors locked seems to do it.
