Default Will GM be fixing Cruise Control?

I have a 2021 Chevy Silverado RST and the cruise control is worthless. If I'm on the highway and it's pretty flat it works fine, but if there is the slightest downhill it takes off faster and faster. In my area there are lots of steep hills and the cruise control won't even attempt to keep it at the set speed. All my other GM vehicles will only allow about 3 mph over set speed before it slows it back down to the set speed. The dealer said there is a "Document" on this, so GM knows of the problem. Has anyone heard if they are going to issue a fix, or is it going to be ignored?

Default Dont count on it

I have same issue on my 24 2.4L. After dealer and customer service blew me off i initiated a safety concern with ntsb. Never heard back from either. Mine simply disengages on about any hill.

Yup, it sucks. None of my other vehicles do it, so some engineer screwed the pooch on this one.
