Hey guys my wife Drives an 01 Astro with rear dutch doors and I am having some issues with it When I open the hatch the interior lights do not come on, also when I lock the doors with the inside button or the key all the doors lock except the hatch (even the rear door). I can unlock and lock the doors using the key on the hatch but it still leaves the hatch unlocked (locks/unlocks everything else though)

any Ideas?

 

sounds like you need a lock silinoid (spelled wrong ) but as far as the lights go i have an o2 and the rear hatch was wired but never made with a sensor to turn on the lights . Talked to Gm and have wiring diagram to show wiring to hatch but no sensor was ever put on for light function in the rear
