1995 astro, starcraft, WIPER PROBLEM HELP PLEASE!!!!

Hi everyone love the site

i have a problem with my windscreen wipers they work when they want to, when i go over a bump in the road they work or stop working, if anyone could help with this issuw please do.

The circuit board for the wiper motor has a short. It's repairable if you are good with a soldering iron, but most just replace the unit.
