Default Windshield wiper problem. Need help please!!

I have a 2001 Impalla. When the Windshield wipers are in the off position the wipers stay up and will not go back down unless it is running in the intermitent setting. The wipers seem to be working fine otherwise. I'm at a loss and need help please. If this is possibly a relay problem, please tell me where I might locate the relay.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Default RE: Windshield wiper problem. Need help please!!

The problem is the wiper crank arm needs replaced. You also need to check the tab that it connects when in the park position. If its bent you can bend it back or replace the wiper motor bracket.
