Angry 93 chevy astro

Hello, im having some problems with my chevy astro its got about 240k miles on it and i recently changed the alternator. well just recently the battery meter started bobbing up and down up to the point where the lights dimmed and the trans didnt wanna shift...got it home and turned it off. wouldnt start after that so we went ahead and got a new battery then it would have labored starts then after just clicked so we got a new starter put in. starts right up now but the battery still fluctuates. for about 45 minutes it was normal then i put the engine cover back on and started to do it again. alt is good, starters good and i had to get another battery 4 days after cause the new one i bought died so thats good. i still cant figure out the problem for the life of me...nothing stays on in my vehicle. any ideas??? also sometimes when it gets low i can hit the gas and it will jump back to half and other times when i hit the gas it does nothing.

I had a similar problem. Sometimes, I'd just get a click when starting. I couldn't get good contact on the pos. cable (side post) Even after taking the boots off and cleaning, it would still do it. I ended up replacing the stud or "screw" that's in the boot and it seems to be doing fine.
