my brake lights have stopped working. The third light works as well as the turn signals, hazards, and tail lights. Have checked ALL fuses and even replaced the switch on the pedal......HELP!!!!

 

Try nudging the 4 way flasher switch on the steering column either right or left while you hold your foot on the brake. My guess is that you'll get some lights back. I'm far too tired of fixing these ridiculous little glitches on mine and I know it's probably a bit of a job to replace this switch so I put a small scrap of cardboard beside the flasher switch. My lights are fine as long as it's in place. I'm guessing this is a weak contact inside the flasher switch. I tried contact cleaner to no avail.
