Default dashboard lights going crazy?

Hi peeps! I have some lights on my dashboard that keep appearing and disappearing.

1. Check Engine light. I think this is mainly attributed to a broken gas cap. Anyway I hope that's it because I'll replace it. What other reason could it be? I get my oil changed regularly so I don't know why the Check Engine light should go on.

2. Brake and ABS lights. These seem to go on when it's a little humid. Someone told me that this could be fixed by spraying WD40 where the emergency brake is. I have know idea how to do this or even if that is the problem. I had my front brakes done sometime in the middle of 2010. Are the lights telling me that it's time to replace? I hope not. Duh.

Oh hell, I forgot to tell you it's a 2004 Astro with about 45,000 mile on it.

Thanks for reading and looking forward to your suggestions.
