Default Down and out two months now...

My fuel pump died. I ordered a new one, put it in, and it started fine. I drove a few miles, and it started to act like it was running out of gas. I replaced the fuel filter and the sensor on top of the fuel pump. I added two bottles of heat with injection cleaner. My mech. says its a bad pump. We checked pressure at the rail it was 60, dropped 3 when running.. When the problem occurs pressure drops. Seems to be when trying to give it gas to get to speed at about 20-30 it sputters and sometimes dies. Wait a bit 30 sec. approx. turn the key let pump run and it starts. No codes. Ran perfect b-4 this new pump so we dont beleive it to be something else. Plugged in new pump out of gas tank seems to be fine. can blow through all hoses to rail. Someone mentioned throttle position sensor, but it idles fine... Another, the fuel pump switch, where does it go, and what does it do? What does it look like? Would it do this? How do I tell if my fuel pump works to it's full capacity when pushing the gas? I am at a loss... Any suggestions?

Cheapest source I've found for the real deal. I bought Green's pump from them.

Here's a little page I put together with Astro/Safari fuel pump info.
