Will the fuel injection system from a 1996 GMC Jimmy with Vortec 4.3L
work on a 2005 Chevrolet Astro with Vortec 4.3L?
Every thing hooks up and plugs up exactly the same. I was just wondering if the metering was the same flow rate.

 

My quick research shows that they used the same fuel injector pressure regulator and I know a lot of the old CFI vans get the newer MFI system. I guess if you really needed to you could, but most would consider it a down grade to the van.
