Default HELP! with 2002 astro awd sliding door!

Hi all, I have a problem with my 2002 chevy astro awd sliding side door. about a week ago the door would just not open, the handle is just loose and wont open the door, so i figured out that the rod must have broke loose. I took the panel off the inside of the door and sure enough i found the rod just hanging there loose. And now i noticed that where the rod is supposed to be attached to at the very back (i guess its called the latch or something) thats all rusted and bent and broken. So what i need to know is where i can get replacement parts, as i can not open the door anymore. please respond if you know where i can get parts. thanks!

note. The handle and everything is fine, and the rod is still attached to the handle so thats not what im looking for. Its where the rod attaches to the back part of the door. Thanks!

We had the same problem with our 2001 astro. It happened while we were in Florida on holidays lol. Ours wasnt rusted out just the clip poped out. If you need replacement parts. Try the local junk yard and if that dont work try the dealer.
