1997 astro, with all the combinations in the sales of spark plugs, how do you know if a performace plug is any better that the one the manufacture recommends ???
For something that's going to last 100k miles, I'd stick with ACDelco or NGK Iridium plugs, on sale or not. Stay away from the rest of the field offering exotic electrode materials or configurations.

Steve here I went to rock auto and purchased a set (6) of ACDELCO41932,platinum professionals on close outs for $2.60 ea. every body else is selling them for $4.90+- and up, last time they only had 1 plug left, just went to my order and found out that I actually ordered 8 of these plugs and got them for $20.80 plus shipping @ $6.07, gone to try them,Steve
That's a good idea, using what you already have. I'm sure they'll work fine though I can't say I see the point of ACDelco Platinum Pro. I think they got the idea from the NGK V-Power.
