Default Help!

I just installed a new JVC Head unit into my 2004 chevy silverado with bose speakers and on star. when i start my engine and listen to music (only when the engine is on) there is a whining noise inside the truck. Also the pitch of the noise gets higher when the the rpms are increased. Are there any suggestions?? Thanks

Check your RCA connections(if using any) and make sure they're tight, also check all grounds as well to make sure they're bare metal-to-metal contacts. You may have blown the small fuse within the radio itself, which will probably require you to manually ground the RCA's. Some pioneer units had this same issue.
