Well guys, my 07 Avalanche LTZ was broken into a few days ago. The driver's side rear window was smashed. Must have been kids as they really didn't take anything of value (emptied my console and glove box). It looks as if they climbed in and out thru the window as the alarm did not go off (yes I'm certain I set it properly). Does anyone know of any upgrades to the factory alarm that would detect movement in vehicle or glass breakage? I don't want to replace the factory alarm, just improve it. Any suggestions?

 

Factory alarms do NOT detect glass brakage onlytime it will go off is if they would have popped the locks from inside the truck it would have gone off, or fricked with the ignition or radio....other then that it wont, dont replace the factory one just get a viper one that detects glass breakage or shoke sensorsto the windows
