Default 08 Avalanche Onstar Location??

I have read all the Tahoe install threads but do not see where the Onstar location is for an 08 Avalanche to plug in my voice command harness. Also how do you get to it. Do I have to take out my whole center consloe?? Thanks in advace for any help...

I figured it out all by myself. It is under the 12 volt power plugs that are under the climate control. It says continental on it. I was able to plug in the voice command plug by going n from the drivers side, pulling the trim that is the second one from the firewall out and to the side because it won't come all the way out. Took about 15 minutes to do.

If you want to control your navigation and radio channels by voice command you need to use the harness. Everything runs through the onstar system. If you want blue tooth you will have to replace the onstar module. Good luck finding one.
