Hi, looking at a 2002 avalanche 2500 with 121k on it. Body and frame are in great shape. Doesn't look like it was beat on. Anybody have experience with this model? Any issues I should be aware of? I tow ATV's several times a year through the hills of WV, around 5k lbs. My 4.7 tundra will do it, I'm just tired of white knuckling it through some of the mountain roads. I'd appreciate any input here. thanks

 

121,000 is not a lot of miles on a 2002. The question is how well was it maintained? If the oil and filters were changed regularly then it should be a good reliable vehicle. See if there are any maintenance records.
